Meet The Team

I have held my real estate license for 8+ years. I was born and raised in Augusta County and graduated from JMU with a Bachelor of Arts in English. It is a privilege to serve our team and I love working with our sellers and buyers to provide them an exceptional experience. In my free time, I cherish time with my two children, family, and friends enjoying all of the wonderful places and activities our beautiful community has to offer.

I was born and raised in Augusta County. I attended Blue Ridge Community College studying to become a Veterinary Technician. My love for animals runs deep. However, I ended up discovering an equally deep passion for Real Estate/Design when I began a career with Countryside HomeCrafters in 2014. There I assisted with designing homes and choosing selections and fine-tuned my eye for design. In 2018 I decided to take my passion for design to the next level. I found a husband and wife real estate investment team that I became a project manager for and was responsible for full renovations of vacation rentals. I then stepped into the world of furnishing and decorating each project on my own. After almost 5 years there, my husband and I decided to sell our personal home and build our dream home. I contacted Cody and he and Tanner scheduled our listing appointment that same week. Our home sold quickly and the rest is history! I’ve gained an extended family here with the Persinger Real Estate Group and I couldn’t be more blessed! I’m excited to be able to continue to use my interior decorating knowledge and talent to help benefit our team’s clients and their families.

I have been blessed to call the Shenandoah Valley home since 2004. Over the past 10 years, I worked in residential and commercial construction and have my certification in residential electrical wiring from VVTC. I joined the Persinger Real Estate Group in February of 2020. I specialize in representing buyers, especially guiding them through the new build process. It is a privilege to serve my community and I look forward to working with you to help make your home selling/buying process as smooth and easy as possible. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, playing the guitar and enjoying golf and water sports.

I joined the team in November 2021 and have hit the ground running serving clients. It is a privilege to be a part of this team and I believe strongly in what we stand for. Real estate is about the investment and relationship, where our focus is to help you build equity and carve a financial path to get you into your dream home. I graduated from Eastern Mennonite University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. I also had the privilege to play baseball for EMU for 4 years. I love being involved in my community as much as possible and love the game of baseball. A way to enjoy both is through the game of baseball. As the Head JV baseball coach at Riverheads High School, I enjoy teaching kids the fundamentals of baseball but also influencing them in becoming men and leaders in our community. In the off hours, I love spending time with my wife Kristyn and young son Hudson, who keeps us on our toes!

I grew up close to Asheville, NC, but in 2018, moved to Lynchburg to attend Liberty University. Recently, my wife and I moved to Augusta County to be close to family. We are proud to call the Shenandoah Valley home now and I look forward to growing and serving our community. Purchasing a home is often the biggest financial decision a person can make. I enjoy working with buyers to find their dream home and build their financial future. When I am not working with my clients, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Skyler, and our extended family.

As an Augusta County native, I recognize and value the county's beauty, prosperity, and all the other reasons you and I call this place home (or want to). The county's great morals and values make this place like no other and I hope to help protect that. My background at Riverheads High School instilled a deep love and awareness for this community.
Upon graduating from Riverheads I went to Virginia Tech and completed an Agriculture Associates Degree. Through my time in high school and Virginia Tech, I was involved and deeply invested in farming and real estate. I’ve worked multiple farm jobs, including a ranch internship in Colorado, and have recently assumed a herd manager position on a local farm in Stuarts Draft.   
The jobs and education I’ve had fuel my love for the outdoors. In addition, they have ingrained real estate's significance and value. Ultimately this led me to a real estate career. These values, love, and faith drive me to assist you and your real estate needs.

Charlottesville has been my home for the past five years after finishing my masters degree at the University of Virginia. A former college basketball player, I started my career in real estate looking for a teamwork-driven environment in which to serve my community. In my first year as a full-time REALTOR, I had the privilege of serving 15 families to buy or sell property in central Virginia (around $4,000,000 in total sales). In March 2020, I started an initiative called “Meals and Deals” where a total of $10,000 was raised for struggling restaurants in Charlottesville due to the pandemic. I am an active member of the community and can be found on the golf course, at a basketball game, or enjoying a local restaurant. I look forward to seeing you in the community and hopefully helping you achieve your home buying dreams. 

I'm Sheldon Yoder, currently living in Rockingham County with my beautiful wife and our three wonderful (most of the time) children. Since 2020, I've been immersed in the world of Enlisted Auctions, based out of Stuarts Draft, VA, where I've had the privilege of assisting numerous clients in successfully auctioning their properties.
